Police Make Arrests in Vehicle Theft

Officers at the South St. George Police Station have made a significant breakthrough, with the arrest of two persons, in connection with the disappearance of vehicles in the policing district.
Roger Gelliseau, 48 years, Farmer of Corinth St. David and Shefon Alexis, 19 years, unemployed of Grand Anse Valley, St. George both appeared at the St. George’s Magistrate’s Court on Friday 1st March, 2019.
 
Gelliseau who has been charged with one count of stealing a motor vehicle, possession of ammunition and possession of an offensive weapon is remanded to Her Majesty’s Prisons. He will return to the St. George’s Magistrate Court on 12th March, 2019 for mention.
 
Alexis has been charged with three counts of stealing a motor vehicle, three counts of driving without a valid drivers' license and one count of driving without due care and attention. He will appear at the St. George’s Magistrate Court Friday 8th March, 2019.
