Major Breakthrough For South St. George Police

Detectives at South St. George Police Station have arrested and charged a St. Mark resident in connection with a slew of break-ins in the South of the island.

Sheldon Straker, 36 years, of Resource St. Mark, was formally charged for stealing in excess of 35-thousand dollars’ worth of goods belonging to a Chinese Construction Group. He appeared at the St. George’s Magistrates Court on Monday 28th January, 2019 and was remanded to Her Majesty’s Prisons.

Straker who is charged with two counts each of housebreaking and stealing is alleged to have committed the offenses between 18th October and December 9th 2018.

Police investigations are continuing.
