NEW APPLICATIONS:

Firearm applications are received and processed at Police Headquarters. To obtain a Firearm Licence;

1. Collect and complete the application form provided at the administrative office of Police Headquarters.
2. Be sure to provide three (3) passport-sized photograph with application.

Once the form has been received a period of vetting must be conducted. You will be notified at the completion of this process whether or not your application has been approved.

After receiving your approval notice you are required to pay the relevant fee at Inland Revenue.

RENEWING APPLICATIONS:

Persons who already hold a firearm licence are required to complete steps (1 & 2) above, as new applicants. To renew their licence they will pay the licence fee of $100 at Inland Revenue and return:

• the completed form
• photographs
• Inland Revenue cash receipt

These should be addressed to the Commissioner of Police who will approve the application.
